Now I'm going to try my best not to write an 15 page essay on this one food but fighting against the rambling is probably going to end up being a futile effort. Now anyone who knows me knows that I really, really, REALLY enjoy good bread. Whther it's rolls, dumplings (Jamaican), pizza crusts, Jamaican patty crusts, no matter what type of bread it is, if you can make good dough, I'll pay you dough. The chapati themselves are simply fried discs of flour with a little bit of seasoning, but we usually eat them with kenyan beef stew and mung peas which are also a popular side dish in Asia. Honestly I could give you a whole history behind this delicious finger food, but what's the fun in that. Just know you won't be able to get it from the plate to your mouth fast enough. Until you reach the 3rd chapati and you realize you can't finish this. That's a feeling I know all too well from dinners where my Dad makes them.
