I mean this is one dish that is actually Chinese and is still served in Chinese restaurants. That should tell you how good this dish tastes. Fried rice is a dish believed to have originated from the eastern Jiangsu province sometime during the Sui Dynasty. Fried rice is on

e of the most popular dishes in the world and is eaten in places all across the world. From India, to Nepal, to Hawaii, almost anywhere in the world fried rice can be found, sometimes with the countries own spin on the dish. Fried rice is typically made by frying cooked rice in a pan along with an assortment of vegetables, egg, some seasoning, soy sauce, and some different meats/seafood (Chicken, pork, beef, scallions, shrimp, etc.). Part of the reason fried rice is so popular is because of the fact that there are so many different ways to make it. People often use leftover meat for fried rice and the simplicity of the dish makes it fast and easy to create an awesome dinner. In China this dish can be found on the streetside and is also very commonly found inside of Chinese restaurants. If you wish to make some of your own fried rice, knock yourself out. Here's a recipe I found online http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/fried-rice-354350
