Dumplings; what person doesn't love them? And it's not just Chinese dumplings, all dumplings taste great from whether they're German, English, or Jamaican. Chinese dumplings are a traditional dish originating in Northern China. Dumplings are a half moon shaped stuffed pasta of sorts that can contain a variety of different fillings. They are usually boiled, fried, or steamed after they are stuffed. Chinese dumplings symbolize many things in Chinese cultures, as the shape and different types of fillings have hold deeper meanings. For example beef fillings represent strong economic growth because the bull is strong. Mushroom stuffing is said to support increasing wealth and luck because of their shape that looks like an upward pointing arrow. Dumplings are often eaten at Chinese New Year and at Festivals for celebration. Here's a recipe for some beef Chinese Dumplings: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/87535/beefy-chinese-dumplings/
